In collaboration with the Southern California Chapters of the American Guild of Organists, Christ Cathedral presents the COMPLETE Organ Works of J. S. Bach! Experience your favorite organists from all over SoCal playing beginning at 6am and continuously playing through all of Bach’s organ works.
This prayerful evening service sung by our Diocesan and Cathedral Choirs will include Marian Choral classics, Congregational Marian Hymns, and a newly-commissioned arrangement of Marian Hymn Come, let us worship (ISTE CONFESSOR) by Benjamin LaPrairie, Associate Director of Music at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
Christ Cathedral’s own Choral & Organ Scholars present a recital to conclude their year of studies, lessons, and practicing as part of the Cathedral Music Program. Our 2024 – 2025 Scholars are Eduardo Iñiguez, Phillip Hoang, Tess Sacher, Clare Donaldson, Dayris Lira, Agatha Teague, and Serra Kim.
